INTERNATIONAL NETWORK OF STUDIES ON THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR
The International network of Studies on the Spanish Civil War (INSCiWar) is constituted by centres and research groups adhered to the Bases for the formation and development of the International Network of Studies on the Spanish Civil War (INSCiWar), Approved by the governing Commission of the Center for Studies and Documentation of the International Brigades (CEDOBI) at its meeting held in Albacete (Spain), on April 3, 2017.
The network counts as main objectives with the following ones: to foment the study and investigation on the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) in its multiple interrelations, geographical areas and international dimension of the conflict; To organize international meetings of scientific character to promote studies and exchange of experiences and knowledge in the investigation of the Spanish War and its epoch; To promote the edition and publication of scientific papers on the Spanish Civil War and the international context of the moment; and maintain scientific, informative and informative relations among all the members of the network that stimulate and facilitate synergies in the research on the history of the Civil War.
The coordination of the network corresponds to the center of Studies and Documentation of the International Brigades (CEDOBI), Joint center of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) and the Institute of Albacete Studies (CSIC), whose general function is "to extend the Scientific knowledge about the International brigades and the last Spanish Civil War. "
