Born in Argentina in 1917, where his family had arrived from Tsarist Russia where his father had been sentenced to death, and where they will be until 1932 when they move to Montevideo, waiting for their papers to go to the USSR. He did not hesitate, with his 19 years, to go to Spain with his father when the civil war erupted. He traveled to Barcelona, Albacete and from there to many places performing the work of interpreter. His participation in Spain marked his life and from the years 90 he retakes his most direct contact with Spain, collaborating very actively with the recovery of the historical memory and the recognition of the work of the International Brigades in Spain.
