Lorenzo Alberca Martínez. (Arenales de San Gregorio, Ciudad Real 1914 – Burrows 2005)
When the civil war begins, he is doing military service as a gunner in Barcelona and is then destined for the fronts in Madrid and Guadarrama.
He was captain of the XI International Brigade, Thaelman Battalion, formed mainly by Germans.
He fought on the frontlines and on different fronts: Jarama, Brunete, Belchite… With the International Brigades arrives to Burrows (Albacete), to the base, to carry out some courses on antigases.
In April 1938 he was taken prisoner and then went through different prisons and concentration camps.
